Housing Intelligence

Housing evidence you can trace back to the source.

The current Canada product covers Statistics Canada new-home prices, residential permit authorizations and construction-stage measures, plus CMHC primary-rental vacancy and apartment-universe estimates. It shows source, vintage, method and limitations beside the result.

Live · public-data foundation + premium decision architecture

For decisions

A current evidence layer for housing research.

Built for analysts, investors, developers and policy teams that need an inspectable view of current official housing indicators—not a black-box score.

Live coverage

New-home prices, supply stages and a bounded primary-rental slice.

Registered Statistics Canada sources cover prices, permits and construction stages; a registered CMHC artifact covers primary-rental vacancy and the apartment survey universe in eight CMAs. None establishes occupancy, sale, asking rent, turnover, absorption or forecast supply.

  • Source and observation vintage
  • Byte-exact evidence receipts
  • Historical governed records kept separate
  • Explicit insufficient-data and coverage states

Roadmap boundary

Public evidence does not fill licensed-data gaps.

The live mortgage-credit slice is national aggregate only; renewal schedules, arrears cohorts, insured/uninsured and regional credit remain gated. Census affordability is not current affordability, and taxes, insurance and utilities remain unknown. The United States path is clean-forward and does not yet support a current institutional report.
